But old lessons are easily forgotten in the heat of war. Over the years, the Academy has become a snakepit of secrets and plotting, and students and professors fight each other and one another. This man making a bid for the throne of the Royal Citadel of Eiattu -- this man who would lead the Peoples' Liberation Battalion to rule this world -- claims to be the brother of the current ruler, Princess Plourr. But Plourr knows -- with great certainty -- that this cannot be. To reveal the truth might destroy his power, but it could, in turn, destroy her as well.
